Portfolio Analyst

Job Description:

The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for analyzing and managing investment portfolios for individuals and institutions. The primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting research on different investment opportunities such as stocks, bonds, and real estate
• Making recommendations to clients on how to allocate their assets in order to achieve their financial goals
• Monitoring the performance of existing investments and making adjustments as needed
• Reporting on the portfolio’s performance to clients
• Helping clients develop investment strategies and risk management plans
• Keeping up to date with market trends and conditions
• Communicating with clients to understand their needs and objectives
• Collaborating with other members of the investment team

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong analytical and research skills
• Familiarity with investment products and markets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• A professional designation such as CFA or CFP is preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and portfolio management software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and the ability to think critically and creatively to solve problems. The Portfolio Analyst will report to the Head of Investment and will be responsible for providing clients with a high level of service and support.
